Jiangsu Seagull Cooling Tower Co., Ltd proudly announced the successful completion for its Plock project mechanical erection in Poland. Commissioning and proof of performance will be executedduring May in 2017. Plock project is contracted by Siemens AG, Germany with total 8-cell flow rate over 30000m3/hour. This project is the first turnkey project delivered by Seagull in Europe.
Plock project is a turnkey project that consists of 8 cells of Counterflow FRP Structure cooling towers inside a refinery in Poland. Seagull’s scopes include design, fabricate, logistic and field erect. All the cooling towers are designed and fabricated under European code and standards (i.e.DIN EN14705, VGB-R-610, VGB-R 609 etc.). Tower structure are manufactured with Pultruded FRP under EN & Polish Code with CE certification. All the cooling towers are fully operational between the temperature from -36℃ to 40℃ (-32.8℉ to 104℉).
To ensure Plock project is completed on time with outstanding quality, Seagull sent its own construction team, working closely with local laborer under regulation and guidelines from EU-OSHA (European Union information agency for occupational safety and health). “We did the pre-assemble on the ground, then lift and install the assembled parts into the basin. This new type of approach will guarantee the quality for the erection, more easily to be supervised, and increase the efficiency while assure the safety for the workers.” Stated by Seagull's site manager Jian Bao.
